As part of Kinetic’s core value to continuously innovate and evolve, Room Service has undergone some significant changes over the years, especially since its adoption to the Kinetic product suite in March 2018.
Since its humble beginnings in 1998 as an application for room bookings, Room Service has come a long way. Thanks to our long-lasting partnership, Room Service has evolved into something remarkable. We've expanded our horizons to encompass a wide array of exciting offerings, enriching the student experience in new, innovative ways. From Wellbeing for Students (Student Life) to our cutting-edge Enterprise Edition (web-based RS), Room Service has transcended its initial role as a mere room booking platform.
The name "Room Service" no longer captures the breadth of our product's capabilities and offerings. We sought a name that inspires a deep commitment and focus to what you can achieve for every student, offering them a warm welcome and empowering them to navigate a fresh start. We are thrilled to introduce our new identity: KxWelcome.
The name KxWelcome perfectly encapsulates the essence of this exceptional product. It speaks volumes about what our solution represents: a comprehensive platform that addresses every facet of the student experience.
The web version of KxWelcome, currently known as Enterprise Edition, will now be referred to as KxWelcome- Browser.
