A new student experience app joins Kinetic’s suite of solutions.

Kinetic launches KxEngage 2

Kinetic, a leading provider of software for student accommodation, has recently announced the launch of a new student experience app called KxEngage.

Launched on 4th March 2024, KxEngage is designed to help student accommodation providers create vibrant communities that promote a sense of belonging while providing effortless access to essential facilities and services on a single digital platform.

KxEngage was originally developed by entrepreneur George Lengyel, who identified a need for students to connect with others around them and feel a sense of belonging to the community of people where they live. George, founding the app concept for his university dissertation at the University of Sussex, joined forces with co-founder Rohit Makol in 2016, to launch a brand-new company: HeyHub. HeyHub was acquired by Kinetic with the support of Volaris Group in early 2024 and the founders have joined the Kinetic team.

KxEngage is the ideal solution for today's digital age, where students expect high-quality, instant access to services and facilities on the go. The app enables students to connect with peers who share their interests by discovering and joining groups, events, and societies. Additionally, students can easily access critical services such as making rent payments, reporting maintenance issues, booking facilities, and requesting support all in one place through the app.

Thanks to insights from students and providers, KxEngage has already made a big impact on student residential experience across the globe. As part of the Kinetic product family, KxEngage will continue to deliver on its vision to provide a fully integrated best-in-class community app underpinned by a market-leading Property Management System. This synergy delivers a seamless, efficient, and enhanced experience for property managers and communities alike.

Luke Warren, the CEO of Kinetic, stated, “Our commitment to deliver innovative solutions and elevate our customers’ experiences by connecting staff, residents, and customers is what makes KxEngage truly special. We're incredibly excited about the opportunities KxEngage offers our customers and how it would further support them in creating experiences that revolve around the needs of the students they serve.”
