How to stay active during COVID-19 lockdown? Although the gyms are currently closed and we’re limited on where we can go, there’s still plenty of ways to keep active during the lockdown.

From yoga to daily runs, there's something for everyone!

We asked the team at Kinetic how they're keeping active whilst at home. Here are the resources we're using.

1) BodyCoach

Free online home workouts for all ages, including PE for kids at 9AM.

2) Calisthenic movement

Free online workouts, including how to improve your health.

3) OfficialThenX

Secret techniques, programmes, and step by step guided tutorials tested by thousands of people to reach their goals, with the most simplistic systematic approach.

4) Yoga with Adriene

A library of free yoga videos to find a practice that suits your mood or start a journey toward healing.

5) Pop Sugar Fitness

Fresh fitness tutorials, workouts, and exercises that will help you on your road to healthy living, weight loss, and stress relief.

6) Zwift

Zwift blends the fun of video games with the intensity of serious training, helping you get faster. Note, you’ll need an exercise bike.

7) RGT Cycling

Again, you’ll need a bike for this! Train using workouts from some of the world’s best coaches for Real Training gains.

8) Minus The Gym

A gymless fitness YouTube channel, including nutrition advice.

9) Workout for women app

Short on time but still want to get healthier? Workout for Women is the app for you. Workout anywhere, anytime. A personal trainer right in your pocket.

10) A Bodyweight Workout That Feels Amazing

A blog that explores bodyweight movements that will improve your strength, coordination, balance, and flexibility.

11) Body Project

High energy, motivating workouts to do from home.

12) Home workouts on Coach Mag

Written explanations for home workouts rather than videos.

13) NHS workouts

The NHS have shared a 10-minute workout that you can do in your home.

14) Everyone Active suggestions

Everyone Active have also shared numerous home workouts in a written/photo style.

15) Free workout videos on fitness blender

This website enables you to filter on duration, calories burned, difficulty, body focus and more, meaning you can find the prefect workout for you.

So grab a sweat towel, fill that water bottle up and let’s get moving!
