Some of you may be familiar with the name 'Lee Rawlinson.'

Lee is a well-known and highly respected individual in the Higher Education sector. In 2012, Lee joined the University of Liverpool as the Head of Accommodation. As a senior member of the Residential Services Management team, Lee was responsible for the University’s accommodation offering and ensured that all services were delivered to the students, staff, and visitors at the highest possible standard. In addition to the Accommodation Office, Lee managed the Student Experience team building community in halls and also was responsible for pastoral care, welfare, and support with over 100 Residential Advisers and a dedicated Hall Warden team.

Six and a half years later and Lee has supported and implemented a huge amount of positive change within Liverpool's Residential Estate, including an investment of over £250 million to raise the quality of its accommodation offer and the development of its system to manage revenue, bookings and student welfare.

"As you can imagine, this has been quite a journey! Student accommodation applications and enquiries doubled year on year in Liverpool and by using Kx, it has really helped me to maintain a very small team to achieve massive improvements," says Lee.

As a huge Kinetic advocate and an experienced senior figure in the HE sector, we're very excited to announce that in March 2019 Lee will be stepping into a new role at Kinetic as our Director of Innovation. Lee will bring his experience in student accommodation, welfare, and community-building, plus the latest industry knowledge to support the development of our products and services.
